Pharmacy Resident - ( 260000ZF ) Description The pharmacy residency is a one-year ASHP accredited program. The resident will rotate every 5 weeks in various clinical areas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: medication order processing within established policies, procedures and guidelines, providing drug information while applying a thorough understanding and knowledge of drug and medical therapy. As a resident this individual will serve as a staff pharmacist, be cross-trained in multiple areas, have longitudinal projects (MUE, DCR, research project), have an on-call component, rotate every 5 weeks through clinical rotations, serve as a preceptor for APPE pharmacy students, and other requirements as indicated and required in the pharmacy resident manual. Qualifications: Minimum Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Completion of a four year pharmacy program in an accredited college of pharmacy.
