Job description

Responsible for creating a working environment that promotes positive employee engagement, adherence to company policies, effective communication, collaboration, innovation, optimal productivity and continuous learning. Directs department operations on a continuous basis and advises management on operational and functional improvement opportunities and monitors, evaluates and follows through on quality and financial indicators, team indicators, case management and utilization. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Assures systems are in place to ensure appropriate resources and competent staff. 2. Manages budget process and ensures budget monitoring processes are in place and develops action plans to address variances. 3. Identifies and implements strategies to reduce and control expenses and monitors all aspects of payroll process and follows through as indicated. 4. Engages staff in continuously building customer satisfaction for patients, physicians, colleagues, and acts as a community advocate. 5.
