RN - Wound Clinic - Part Time - Dayshift 64 hrs. Biweekly, Mon. - Fri. Shifts Between: 6am - 5pm Meritus Health is now hiring a Registered Nurse for our Wound Center. This position plays a pivotal role in both outpatient and inpatient wound management, ensuring a seamless continuum of care. The RN in this role will provide comprehensive assessment, advanced wound treatment, patient and family education, and care coordination—working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other care team members to support optimal healing. Key Responsibilities: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development related to wound care management - Perform wound assessments, treatments, and evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. - Implement and monitor evidence-based wound care protocols, including negative pressure therapy, compression therapy, and use of bio-engineered tissue products. - Coordinate care between inpatient units and the outpatient clinic, ensuring continuity and follow-up for complex wound cases. - Provide patient and family education on wound prevention, nutrition, and home care techniques. - Collaborate with the...
