The Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville is seeking an Academic Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon with focus on Pediatric Orthopedics and Hand/Upper Extremity Surgery to join our growing and collaborative team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a nationally recognized pediatric health system and help expand a high-quality orthopedic program serving children and families across Northeast Florida and the surrounding region. Position Overview: The selected candidate will join a collegial department that includes eight pediatric orthopedic surgeons, soon to be nine, two pediatric non-operative sports medicine physicians, twelve advanced practice providers. The candidate will provide comprehensive pediatric orthopedic care with a primary clinical focus on hand and upper extremity disorders , working closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes orthotics and prosthetics, rehabilitation specialists, and care coordination professionals.
