Description Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of digital pathology, artificial intelligence, and independent/collaborative research. Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree. American Board of Pathology Certification, AP or AP/CP, is preferred but not required. Teaching responsibilities may include medical students, residents, fellows and post-doctoral students. Clinical responsibilities may include an anatomic or clinical pathology subspecialty. Research or scholarship responsibilities may include development of an independent or highly collaborative research program (as PI, Co-PI or Co-I) in the area of digital and computational pathology. Faculty on the Clinician Educator (CE) track at the Perelman School of Medicine are expected to develop and sustain a record of academic productivity, which includes involvement in collaborative and/or independent research efforts leading to peer-reviewed publishe...
