Packaging Operator (Milton Brewery - FT Reg)

Job description

We are currently hiring a Packaging Operator in Milton, DE for 1st and 2nd shift rotating monthly. The Packaging Operator runs packaging machinery to meet brewery needs and goals. This position trains throughout the Packaging Department to become skilled in operating all equipment within their designated work area. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of packaging/production experience and is a solid team player with a “get it done, can do” attitude. What You'll Brew: - Safely and efficiently operate packaging machinery. Machinery types include, but are not limited to: Filler, Labeler, Box Maker, Packer - Utilize lean manufacturing methodologies in daily standard work to drive improvements in safety, quality, and overall line performance. - Follow manufacturing best practices, such as equipment center lining, visualization, and 6S. - Perform quality checks, testing, inspections, minor lubrication, and paperwork as required. - Fulfil sanitation duties. Requires the use of foaming equipment, hoses, brooms, shovels, brushes, scrapers, squeegees, and sanitation chemicals. - Develop and maintain a functional understanding of computer systems.
