Job Summary Under the general direction of the Director of University Accounting and Reporting and with lead work direction provided by the Lead Property Analyst, the Property Analyst performs a range of technical and analytical duties in support of the University’s property control program serving the San Luis Obispo and Solano campuses. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete property records within the centralized asset management system, including processing acquisitions, transfers, adjustments, and dispositions in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Property Analyst reviews financial and property-related documentation to identify reportable assets, determines appropriate classifications, and ensures compliance with CSU, University, and applicable regulatory requirements. The position applies established guidelines to resolve routine and moderately complex issues, conducts reconciliations, assists with inventory activities, and supports audit preparation by compiling and verifying required documentation.
