Job DetailsJob Location: Santa Rosa - Santa Rosa, CA 95401Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $21.82 - $31.94 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Category: Admin - ClericalPOSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Health Information Management & Purchased Referred Care Supervisor, the Purchased Referred Referral (PRC) Coordinator I, is responsible for timely processing, documenting and follow-up, including closing, of all Sonoma County Indian Health Project, Inc’s (SCIHP) patient referrals. The PRC Coordinator I will obtain the necessary authorizations and pre-certifications from various insurance carriers. With little supervision, the PRC Coordinator 1 will make interpretations and exercises discretion in routine situations. The PRC Coordinator I will provide assistance in a culturally appropriate manner to the patients of SCIHP. QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum one (1) year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
