Job Description Summary This position is available within the University of Maryland’s Division of Information Technology (DIT) on the Enterprise Planning and Continuous Improvement (EPCI) team, which provides enterprise planning and analytical support to the UMD community. The Business Process Consultant leads process improvement initiatives across administrative and academic units, driving efficiencies in enterprise operations and supporting organizational effectiveness. Working both independently and in teams, the consultant partners with campus leaders to assess current practices, identify opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations that align with institutional goals. Core responsibilities include facilitating discovery sessions, analyzing and modeling business processes, preparing recommendation briefs, and supporting system development, testing, and implementation.
