Maintenance Technician

Job description

Overview We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our Mid-Atlantic Region. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for equipment and building maintenance and repair across multiple sites. This nonexempt (hourly) position typically reports directly to the Maintenance Manager or Operations Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities. The position requires working in accordance with Triple-S Steel job requirements and Safe Methods of Work. This role requires frequent travel to various company locations within our Mid-Atlantic Region. Responsibilities: - Interpret work orders, diagrams, and specifications to diagnose and determine maintenance or repair needs for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. - Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery using tools such as hand tools, hoists, jacks, or cranes. - Start and monitor machines post-repair to verify functionality and identify issues. - Inspect components, mark defects, and report repair needs to supervisors. - Install or replace machine parts and attachments according to production requirements. - Lubricate equipment as specified to ensure optimal performance. - Document maintenance a...
