Position Purpose: The Senior Manager of Procurement is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to improve the financial performance of the organization and make specific recommendations for both cost out and cost avoidance. This person is responsible for continuous opportunity assessment related to commodities and catagories within their span of control, and will be held accountable for specific goals and objectives in support of the overall departmental metrics. The Senior manager of procurement is responsible for all contractual agreements as well as compliace with purchase to pay and/or accounting control activities. With strategic partnership and alliance this person supports cross functional activities across mutliple organizations such as, Store Operations, IT, Merchandising, Logistics, and Constructions/Maintenance.This person will be responsible for $250mm-$1bb in annual spend.
