Crane Operator SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Crane Operator that will be responsible for operating cranes as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operate a variety of cranes following prescribed safety regulations - Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area - Perform routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling, and cleaning - Observe equipment operation to detect machine malfunction - Follow work plans and pre-task cards - Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels - All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: *Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment. - High school diploma or GED - Minimum three (3) years related experience in trades specific to job requirements or equivalent combination of education and experience - Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals, and maneuver steering wheel to operate cranes; ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,...
