We are seeking a dependable and experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team. This multifaceted role supports both clinical care and logistical operations in a dynamic, fast-paced orthopedic surgical environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and excels in a highly collaborative surgical setting. Key Responsibilities: Assist nursing staff with preoperative and postoperative patient care in a fast-paced Same Day Surgery environment. Obtain and record patient vital signs, height, weight, and pain levels upon admission and discharge. Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring proper identification, gowning, and comfort. Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and activities of daily living as needed. Assist with patient transport, positioning, and preparation before and after surgery. Ensure patient safety and comfort during pre-op and post-op transitions. Transport patients safely to and from pre-op, OR, PACU, and discharge areas. Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care areas, operating rooms, stretchers, and equipment.
