Office of Transportation Planning Environmental, Social, and Governance Co-op Fall 2026 260002G0 Description Position Summary: The Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) team in MassDOT’s Office of Transportation Planning conducts analysis and creates resources around three main themes: transportation security and vulnerability, destination accessibility, and land use. The Co-Op will be responsible for supporting a wide variety of projects related to ESG’s themes. The Co-op will assist the ESG team in the creation and maintenance of datasets, maps, dashboards, and other resources. Additionally, they will conduct analysis and research on qualitative and quantitative data in various platforms, as well as write documentation to support the previously listed items. The responsibilities in this position are extremely varied, with many different topics and types of tasks depending on experience and interest. A successful applicant needs to be able to manage multiple projects with concurrent timelines and be very detail-oriented, independent, proactive, and organized.
