Job description

Position Summary: The Maintenance Mechanic has the skill and ability to troubleshoot, maintain and repair all factory machinery Performs a variety of technical tasks related to facility maintenance. Responsibilities are to observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and determine need for adjustment or repair. Read manuals and order proper parts. Perform PM's during off hours. Assemble and test machines to verify correction of malfunction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ▪ Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, welding, cutting and screw pipe knowledge is a plus ▪ Operation and Maintenance of Gas and Oil-fired boiler. ▪ Servicing and maintaining equipment including dry kilns, motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, Air compressors and production-related equipment. ▪ Inspecting and maintenance of the fire protection system. ▪ Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns on facility equipment pumps, sinks, door closers, dock doors, dock plates and lighting system. ▪ Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools. ▪ Preventive Maintenance on lumber forklifts and production equipment. ▪ Conducting routine maintenance...
