Entry salary $41,157.69 ($21.11/hr): GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this position is to work with the general public and elected and appointed officials, regarding community development, land use policies, regulations, and zoning. Responsible for maintaining accurate knowledge of adopted codes and regulations so as to review projects and provide advice to various communities in Oconee County. This position also reviews and approves plats, and performs other planning and administrative functions, which may include general office services, records management, customer service, and accounting and budget preparation.
