JOB SUMMARY: Organizes, directs, and performs activities related to instrumentation, sterilization, and supplies utilized for patient care in the Operating Room. Assists RNs as directed in providing patient care. Has a working knowledge of organizational and nursing policies. JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: I. Clinical Standards weekly terminal cleaning, cleaning of autoclave, daily refrigerator and fluid warmer temp checks, maintaining unit cleanliness, etc.; Seeks direction when indicated for unusual or non-routine duties. Advises appropriate personnel of situations requiring intervention or follow-up, observing lines of communication appropriate to the situation. o Inpatient Satisfaction “Likelihood to Recommend" (Non-nursing department use house wide score; Nursing units use department specific score) o NRC: Ambulatory Surgery - Departments use specific results (OPS, GI, Cath, and IR) o NRC: Individual Department results - Department Responsibilities - Fulfills routine duties independently to include daily stocking, - Reprocessing/...
