Job Description FLD Housing Assistant is the internal liaison between developments and central office operations; serves as an intricate and vital link between the Managers, Assistant Managers, and Housing Assistants in the field. Reporting to the Assistant Housing Manager, the Housing Assistant will have some latitude in acting as a department liaison. Duties include but are not limited to the following: 1. Complete, analyze, and conduct essential task between the field such as emergency transfers, relocation transfers, inter project transfers, daily apartment selections, prepare weekly statistical reports, daily data entry into TSAP and Siebel. 2. Constant telephone communication with NYCHA’s field staff, DHS, District Attorney’s Office, city agencies advocates, applicants and residents. 3. Complete processing for the Emergency Transfer Program. 4. Monitor rentals for NYCHA, also verifies that apartments do not remain vacant and the proper selection process is being honored. 5. Process applications and transfers which are selected daily from TSAP that appear on the Borough Wide List; prepare cover sheets, FLD Transmittals, and e-scan to the selected developments. 6.
