ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Prepare samples for Cut & Etch: - Plasma Cutting, Wet Saw, Polishing & Etching (Acid) - Perform Destructive Cut & Etch testing on production MIG welds. - Capture images and measure weld features using computerized software. - Perform Rockwell hardness testing as required. (infrequent) - Perform destructive & non-destructive testing on Resistance Spot welds and Resistance Projection nuts/studs. - Manage Discrepant Weld Reports including emailing and the generation/data entry/ and saving of reports in Excel. - Document, File and Maintain in-process inspection reports. - Assist others as assigned. - Conduct oneself in a professional and technic...
