Job description

Receive, identify, mark, process and issue material. Maintain a variety of records, files and reports: maintain records of materials and order supplies as necessary. Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits. Operate a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles: utilize a variety of hand tools as required: Good organizational and time management skills. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew. - Produce high quality work, safely and productively at all times. - Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment and information is available for the work. - Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks, means and methods regarding the work and be willing to learn from others. - Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work. - Effective Math skills – add, subtract, multiply and divide. - Learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment. - Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time. - If unsure about any aspect of the work or issues regarding safe practices, ask a supervisor before continuing.
