Job Type Full-time Description: Role Summary: As a Component Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support across various aspects of electronic and electro-mechanical components. Your responsibilities include assisting sales, purchasing, and customers with technical inquiries, inspecting and validating components, supporting testing and troubleshooting efforts, and collaborating on data analytics projects. Additionally, you will be involved in component selection, communicating with manufacturers, diagnosing and resolving issues, and creating comprehensive documentation. This role is based in Amsterdam . Essential Functions: - Technical Support to sales, purchasing and customers: Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical electronic and electro-mechanical component support questions regarding part numbers, part specifications, part number verification, marking and label verification, date code decoding, mechanical and compliance characteristics, manufacturing, assembly and testing, technical bulletins, PCNs, lifecycle, etc. Find part number crosses/replacements to meet customer requirements and create detailed analysis reports.
