Overview Kimley-Horn's Denver, Colorado (CO) office is seeking a Noise Control Engineer with 1+ years of experience to join their Acoustics Engineering team. Responsibilities: - Provide detailed acoustic analysis and prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for clients. - Analyze and develop noise mitigation strategies for a variety of engineering projects such as roadway, rail and transit, and industrial facilities. - Conduct acoustic measurements, modeling, and simulations using industry-standard tools and software. - Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate acoustic solutions into overall project designs. - Stay informed about local building codes, regulations, and standards related to acoustics and noise control. - Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining client satisfaction. - Conduct site visits and oversee the implementation of acoustic solutions during construction phases. - Approximately 30 – 45% travel time - Provide technical expertise related to noise control, sound isolation, room acoustics, HVAC noise and vibration control, and environmental noise assessments.
