Job Title Maintenance Mechanic Department: Building Services: Salary: $40,656 - $49,804; commensurate with experience Job Summary/Basic Function: Working from within Building Services - Construction/Renovation Shop, perform general electrician services for projects that include moving, adding or removing electrical outlets, light fixtures and switches, or other electrical devices, including photocontrols and timers. Perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings at various facilities/sites including electrical, plumbing, masonry, and carpentry. Assist with other elements of projects as assigned. Adding or replacing water fountains. Work locations include the main university campus and all off-campus properties. Emergency overtime and after hour callbacks required. Required Education: High School diploma or High Equivalency (HSE) required. Ability to obtain backflow testing certification within six month probationary period required.
