Description The Department of Psychology at the University of New Haven invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in Counselor Education & Supervision beginning August 2021. The successful applicant will have expertise in Counselor Education & Supervision and teach masters-level counseling courses (e.g., career counseling, assessment, group counseling, diagnosis and treatment, addiction counseling), as well as some undergraduate courses. An earned doctorate in Counselor Education & Supervision is required (ABD applicants may be considered; however, completion of degree must occur no later than the end of the first academic year of appointment); degrees from CACREP accredited programs are preferred. The successful applicant will be licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Connecticut (or equivalent licensure issed by another state). The successful candidate must be a dynamic instructor and able to teach master’s-level counseling courses using online, hybrid, and face-to-face modalities.
