WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a non-exempt position responsible for coordinating psychiatric and medical care for Level 2 Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) residents by providing nursing services, education, oversight of medications, and on-call services after-hours for nursing needs. Shifts: - Ensure client safety, including completion of Wellness and Accountability checks, Q15s, and ratio, working an alternate schedule when needed - Ensure the well-being of the residents on a 24-hour basis, with availability after-hours, to address medical and psychiatric emergencies - Schedule and transport clients to medical appointments, and communicate with community providers to ensure continuity of care. - Ensure accurate documentation/transcription of all physicians’ orders, and all treatments are given as prescribed, including supervision of self-administration of medications and providing education to staff as needed. - Take, re...
