This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Early Career Geological Engineer for our New York, NY office. From this location, our Geotechnical and Tunnelling team provides engineering and geological services for projects located throughout the United States. This junior level position offers an opportunity to join a fast-paced team looking to enhance their geological field team working on subsurface investigations throughout the country as well as office related work, including but not limited to, assisting the Project Geologist with Subsurface Investigation Program preparation, geologic profiles, Geotechnical Data Reports, Geotechnical Baseline Reports, Geotechnical Interpretive Reports. Work may require up to 75 percent of the time spent in the field. The selected candidate must be comfortable working in the field, independently or with a team; supervising subcontractors; logging and classifying soil and rock for subsurface investigation programs in addition to working in an office environment, analyzing the geologic field data collected, laboratory data and/or historical data.
