FULL SERVICE: Host/Hostess Pay Rate: $18.50: JOB SUMMARY: Provides friendly, courteous assistance to guests while answering questions and directing guests within a specific food service area. Maintain internal and external crowd control. Responsible for being familiar with various restaurant cuisines, basic menu offerings and general park knowledge. EDUCATION: High school degree or GED preferred. EXPERIENCE: - Welcomes and greets guests, accommodates guests with special needs, quotes wait times, maintains an efficient wait list, directs guests to appropriate waiting areas and takes reservations. Escorts guests to table, reviews menu specials and provide guests with menus. - Answers questions about the specific food operation & possesses full knowledge of food and beverage products served. - Coordinates the orderly movement of people by monitoring table turns, walking the dining room, managing seating plans and understanding service capacities. - Assist bussers in cleaning and resetting tables.
