This position will provide training and education classes to medical assistants, educate patients individually and in groups on disease processes and health prevention, and work collaboratively with others on large health initiative projects. General Responsibilities Performs general nursing care to patients. Utilizes accepted protocols and procedures to aid in decision-making. Observes, records and reports patients condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians. Oversees appointment bookings and ensures preferences are given to patients in emergency situations. Maintains timely flow of patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards. Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
