Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a General Manager for its operations at Columbia Lutheran Home in Seattle, WA. The General Manager will report directly to the District Manager and will oversee all food service operations. Columbia Lutheran Home has practiced innovative, compassionate care guided by our Founder’s holistic approach and mission to provide care for the whole person ~ body, mind, and spirit. Our Home remains one of the longest standalone Not-for-Profit nursing homes in the Pacific NW. ** This position requires a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification, or the ability to get certified within the first 6 months on property.** What You'll Do: The successful candidate will: - have oversight of day-to-day dining and culinary operations; - control and ensure company and client financial targets and goals are achieved; - ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved; - provide technical training and expertise, coaching and leadership to the production team while working side by side in the operation as needed.
