Title: Relief Pharmacist State Role Title: Relief Pharmacist: Hiring Range: $69.50: Pay Band: 6: Agency: Dept of Veterans Services: Location: Davis & McDaniel Vet Care Ctr Agency Website: www.dvs.virginia.gov: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties: Accurately interprets, evaluates and dispenses pharmaceuticals to the nursing units including checking for appropriateness of therapy. Controls pharmacy inventory. Maintains accurate control medication inventory and records. Is knowledgeable of and follows laws and regulations pertaining to pharmacy as set forth by FDA, Virginia Board of Pharmacy, and Federal law. Assures all records and reports required by Federal and State law and facility policies are kept current and accurate. Provides information to facility physicians and other facility staff on all aspects of pharmacy and pharmaceutical care. Assures that facility policies are adhered to by the pharmacy department. May assist in writing policy or procedures for the pharmacy department. All other duties assigned by the Pharmacy Manager. Performs on call duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager.
