Roadway Maintenance Technician I, II, or III - Lockhart Maintenance Office (Austin District) - ( 2600905 ) Position Information Your Future Starts at TxDOT! TxDOT's Austin District is looking for ONE (1) Roadway ( Transportation) Maintenance Technician I, II or III , based out of our Lockhart Maintenance Office in Lockhart, TX. This position will perform routine work related to transportation activities such as construction inspection, routine and contract maintenance inspection, bridge inspection and record keeping, roadway maintenance and repair, light and heavy equipment operation, preventive and minor maintenance on equipment, traffic control, assisting the public during emergency situations, and training other employees. Recruitment Bonus Available!: You may qualify for a one-time recruitment bonus up to $5000 if you have a Class “A” CDL License (preferably with no transmission restrictions) at time of hire. You must maintain 12-months of continuous employment with TxDOT and meet all other conditions.
