Wastewater Technician

Job description

- Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system. - Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections. - Clear blockages, clean screens, and maintain proper flow through the system. - Diagnose and fix low voltage equipment, D.O. probes, Ph. meters, Level transducers, etc. - Repair equipment as necessary. - Maintain maintenance logs. - Maintain accurate wastewater treatment logs. - Conduct basic lab analyses and perform simple calculations. - Communicate issues and status updates to management. - All other relevant duties as required. Qualifications: - Wastewater treatment system operations experience. - Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. - Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools. - Ability to work with minimal supervision. - Excellent troubleshooting and prolem solving skills.
