Job Description Quality Control Specialist - Erlanger, KY Job Summary: The QC Color Specialist is responsible for the measurement, evaluation, and documentation of color attributes in raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to ensure products consistently meet established color specifications. Additionally, the Color Specialist will lead the investigation and disposition of out-of-specification (OOS) results, drives root cause analysis, and implements corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Requirements: - Conduct visual color evaluations against approved standards under controlled lighting conditions - Evaluate raw material, in-process, and finished product samples against approved color specifications; accept, hold, or reject product as warranted - Maintain and calibrate color measurement instruments; document calibration records per SOP requirements - Investigate and document color deviations; initiate and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action (CAPA) processes - Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Customer care teams to communicate color quality concerns and support resolution - Review and update color-related SOPs, work instructions, and spec...
