Evening Supervisor

Job description

Description: - Manage employee performance, resolve concerns, and make hiring, corrective action, and employment decisions. - Train employees in new responsibilities and assist in production-related duties when needed. - Interface with other shop supervisors, staff, production management, production supporting design engineers and management, as well as occasional contact with customer representatives. - Suggest and implement activities to motivate and encourage the highest level of employee performance and morale. - Analyze work orders, work piece and blueprints to determine process, materials, machines, tooling, and sequence of operation. - Recommend changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency and improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. - Interpret company policies to assigned staff, and ensure adherence to all company, federal and state regulations. - Study production schedules, establish work schedules and communicate schedules and assignments to employees. - Ensure OSHA and company safety procedures are communicated and followed. - Analyze and resolve work problems and assist workers in solving work problems. - I...
