Business Controller

Job description

To strengthen our finance team, we are looking for a Business controller. In this role, you act as the “financial eyes” in the site for both the local sales management team and the Regional and Corporate finance teams. This function partners with various stakeholders in the organzation and is the financial right hand and business partner of the General Manager in Germany. The Business Controller is accountable and fully responsibile for developing budgets and forecasts and analyzing and ensuring the accuracy of the local financial results versus targets. Your role and responsibilities: Create the annual budget and periodic forecasts for 3 German entities Develop monthly management reports, analyze and present financial results to the German and finance leadership teams Monitor and evaluate performance against budget or forecast, identify risks and opportunties and suggest possible actions Support new or renewed contract negotiations Act as the gate keeper of internal controls (compliance ambassador) Act as the point person between the 3rd party tax and accounting provider and regional and corporate finance teams Communicate with internal departments regarding accounting-related inq...
