Description Company Overview: At Gold Star, we offer feed and nutrition services and commodity trading in the northeastern U.S., primarily to dairies. As feed and commodity specialists, our customers count on us to originate feed for the mills, manufacture it according to their unique specifications and handle logistics for a safe and smooth delivery every time. Job Summary: A Production Operator will organize, perform and complete the manufacturing of meal & pelleted feeds to order. Includes monitoring and testing for quality assurance as required. Complete the required daily reports and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Safety Orientated - Climbing ladders and working at heights on top of facility - Perform scale weight test weekly - Dump bag ingredients into mixes as formula requires - Load – unload trucks at the dock as needed - Load Gold Star Bag Trucks or Bulk Trucks for deliveries - Pull Bag orders for next day’s bag truck deliveries - Ensure bulk commodities are flowing from bulk bins - Refill Micro ingredient hoppers as needed - Operate Bulk Feed manufacturing system - Cross train across all departments, assist team as...
