Onancock, Virginia Overview: Performs a multitude of general mechanical maintenance tasks such as replaces ceiling tiles and light bulbs, installs a various number of product dispensers and is also responsible for minor carpentry repairs to wall protection, corner guards, cove base or baseboards and minor floor repairs. Light Equipment Mechanic will make repairs to furniture and move furniture, repair wheel chairs, hang clocks and other wall hangings. What you will do: - Replaces light bulbs and ceiling/floor tiles. Installs and replaces a various number of dispensers throughout the facility. Makes minor repairs to furniture, cabinets, desk, chairs, crash rails, hand rails and wall protection. White boards, pictures, signs, clocks and other wall fastened items. - Performs/Assists co-workers outside of related skill when required in an Emergency situation to include but not limited to: General Facility Maintenance, Nurse Call System, Pneumatic Tube System, Medical Gas, Door Operators, Plumbing, Electrical, and/or Heating/Air Conditioning work. may be expected to procure parts and services.
