SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Utility Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks throughout the Metal Paintline. This position must be able to provide a wide range of total preventative services focused on cleaning, inspecting, and replacing components to ensure operational and system efficiency and continuity. PELLA CORPORATION REQUIREMENTS: · Pass pre-employment tests · Work in a team environment with the ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner ENVIRONMENT : · Moderate noise · High/Low temperature · Confined space · Work in elevated or high spaces · Able to work with and around moving equipment ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: · Comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures · Regular/dependable attendance required · Flexibility of work hours including overtime · Maintain paint equipment such as changing filters, cleaning and replacing nozzles, washing and draining tanks · Perform viscosity checks and water tests · Completed preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning overspray from booths and floors, checking filters for proper airflow, inspecting system for lubrication needs, safety checks, and documenting findings t...
