Research Support Specialist Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume): Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Environmental Data Science, Sustainability Science, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) or related field. Experience with statistics and geospatial analyses. Experience with data management, interpretation, visualization with large datasets. Programming experience in R and / or Python. Experience with Jupiter Notebooks, GitHub and Box. Experience with Linux systems and HPCs. Preferred Qualifications: Advance Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Knowledge of land use and land use change drivers, including crop and livestock agriculture. Brief Description of Duties: The Research Support Specialist works under the supervision of Principal Investigator, Dr. Shelby McClelland in the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences and will assist with assessing changing cropland use and management in Bangladesh for industrial animal agriculture.
