About the position ORBIS is seeking a Senior Logistician – Logistics Functional Lead, to provide logistical management support to SEA 21. The Logistics Functional Lead will manage a large and geographically dispersed team (including CONUS and OCONUS sites) leading logistical support to aid SEA 21 and the surface Navy enterprise in oversight, management, policy, and guidance to meet ship lifecycle objectives for all Navy ship classes. This position will align the efforts of various organizations within and external to SEA 21 to ensure the proper maintenance and upgrades ensuring surface ships are modernized with the latest technologies and remain mission relevant throughout each ship's service life. SEA 21 integrates sustainment and maintenance strategies, modernization plans, training needs, and technical, logistics, and programmatic efforts to best manage the lifecycle of U.S. and partner Navy surface ships and systems from fleet introduction through transfer or disposal.
