MHE/Forklift Maintenance Technician

Job description

Pay Range- $30-37/hr based on experience In this role, your primary focus will be maintaining and repairing forklifts and material handling equipment (MHE) to keep the operation running safely and efficiently. You’ll also support general facility maintenance as needed, following all safety and company guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on forklifts and other MHE according to manufacturer and company standards - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues impacting equipment performance - At automated sites, complete PMs and basic troubleshooting on sensors, switches, and control components (photo eyes, proximity switches, push buttons, etc.) - Perform basic inspections and minor repairs on refrigeration systems (training provided as needed) - Accurately document completed work, inspections, and repairs, and communicate equipment status to leadership daily - Support facility and exterior maintenance tasks as needed - Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate or repair components - Operate lifts and other motorized equipment safely while inspecting, maintaining, or repairing as...
