Summary: The Department of Classics at Grand Valley State University invites applications for a one-year position as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics. We seek a broadly trained colleague with the desire to contribute to a vibrant and forward-thinking Classics community. Required Qualifications and Education: - ABD in Classics - Evidence of preparation in teaching undergraduate courses in translation, including classical mythology, Greek civilization, and classical drama. - Individuals from all backgrounds, including from underrepresented groups, are encouraged to apply.
