Job description

A temporary full time position commencing 3 June 2026 (negotiable) until 17 December 2026. The successful applicant will be required to teach Mathematics across a range of year groups and levels. The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential. ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA: - Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church. - Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L. - Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning. - Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in Mathematics. - Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning. - Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider College community. DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA: - Experience teaching Stage 4 and 5 Mathematics. - Experience teaching Stage 6 (Standard and/or Advanced) would be beneficial.
