Description The Driver/Monitor reports to the Transportation Coordinator. Drivers/Monitors are directly responsible for the daily transportation and monitoring of developmentally disabled / physically disabled individuals from point of residence to Day Program site in a safe, efficient manner. In this capacity, all DDS general laws and regulations will be adhered to. This position will be compensated on an hourly basis. Schedule : Monday - Friday Split Shift **Weekends and Holidays off! Salary : $18.00/hour: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Must be able to drive and operate all Venture vehicles. - Ensure and safe guard Venture individuals' human dignity, rights and liberties. - Adhere to all applicable DDS, Venture and MART regulations, policies and procedures, as well as state and local laws in the operation of the vehicle. - Ability to assist individuals who require assistance in entering and leaving the vehicle. - Attendance at all training sessions, staff meetings, and supervision as scheduled. - Ensure all safety precautions regarding the operation of motor vehicles and transportation of individuals, ensure all individuals will be seated while vehicle is in motion, and...
