Job Description: - Fitzroy location - Challenging and rewarding work environment - Ongoing training and development opportunities - Friendly and supportive team environment - Permanent / Part Time (15.2 hours per week) About the Role: The Polio Services Victoria Grade 2 Physiotherapist will be responsible for the provision of evidence-based practice comprising of comprehensive assessment, treatment and education for people attending the clinic who have polio related health issues. You will: Provide appropriate, timely, clinical best practice in management of people with polio related health issues. This may include group-based or individual physiotherapy sessions including aquatic physiotherapy as required Participate and contribute to multidisciplinary goal setting, care planning and discharge planning as appropriate Attend PSV clinics – metropolitan and regional (shared across physiotherapy team) Actively participate in/ contribute to/develop relevant PSV quality or clinical research projects Provide instruction and teaching for other health professionals and physiotherapy students as to best practice methods in physiotherapy for management of polio related health issues.
