As a Lead Diesel Mechanic at SAM by Via, you will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on buses, automotive equipment, and shop equipment. What You’ll Do: - Direct highly varied and complex operations related to vehicle and equipment service - Repair and/or replace any subsystem associated with heavy, medium, and/or light duty SAM coaches and automotive equipment - Work with other maintenance workers, drivers, and transportation supervisors - Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors Who You Are: - 7-10+ years of mechanic experience - Possess knowledge of the design, adjustment, operation, maintenance, and repair of systems and subsystems of SAM coaches and related shop equipment - Able to work on their feet eight hours per day, lift 100 pounds, and carry parts, equipment, and supplies - Class AA and ASE Certified - Hold a valid SD driver’s license - Able to obtain a CDL permit - Able to pass a pre-employment physic...
