We are working closely with Southern Housing to assist with the appointment of an Estate Services Cleaner, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £12.71 - £16.43 per hour Summary: The Cleaner / Estate Services Operative will be responsible for maintaining communal areas to a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring estates and shared spaces remain safe, tidy and welcoming for residents and visitors. Responsibilities: Essentials : - Carry out general cleaning duties within communal areas including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing and litter picking. - Sweep, disinfect and maintain refuse chutes, bins and bin storage areas where appropriate. - Use cleaning machinery such as jet washers and steam cleaners for deep cleaning duties when required. - Report repairs, maintenance concerns and defects in communal areas to the maintenance department or line manager. - Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence. - Act as a point of contact for residents, assisting with enquiries or referring issues appropriately. - Valid UK driving licence with ability to drive com...
