Job Summary: Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the finance function in one or more of our service areas. The role includes assisting Management with negotiating funding agreements; cost allocations among programs; preparing and monitoring of budgets; monitoring, testing, and strengthening of internal controls; preparing monthly financial statements; contractual financial reporting; liaising with internal and external auditors; analyzing current systems/processes and recommending improvements; and mentoring service area staff on financial matters.
