Academic Support Specialist

Job description

Job summary The Academic Support Specialist is working closely with the Programme Leader for Fashion Styling courses in order to support with the administration of the programme and the organisation with the academic activities. The role supports the Programme Leader in the supervision the progress of the programme and its performance, including its efficiency and the students’ satisfaction, whilst coordinates the academic activities related to the course and tutors. Key purpose of the role: - To ensure the management of the admin programme related, by supporting the check of monthly lessons and activities delivered by tutors; - To support with the organisation of the programme; - Support the functions and processes associated with the delivery, monitoring and assessment of academic programmes to the required quality standard; - To effectively liaise with staff in relation to the co-ordination and management of academic timetables and the availability of teaching space; - To assist with providing timely and accurate management information as required by the Programme Leader; - To maintain an accurate record system of all the documents related to the programme; - To support the peda...
