Job description

The Shop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, planning, directing, and supervising the maintenance and repair operations of a single shop or facilities. Reports to: Shop Manager Essential Job Duties: - Supports the Shop Manager with any and all assigned activities; acts as a leader and may help train individuals in the shop and / or makes performance or disciplinary recommendations to the manager - May support reporting or other documentation assigned by the manager - Coordinates the Service Office operations and workflow of vehicles and equipment in and out of the repair facility. Serves as the contact person for departments with vehicle or equipment needs including repair status inquiries and towing needs. - Coordinates shop workflow. Collects detailed information from operation departments regarding service inquires or requests, problems, or maintenance requests - Processes work orders into the computer system and assigns to appropriate shop floor personnel. - Opens and monitors the fuel island operation to include fuel deliveries, test tank tickets, inventory levels, dispenser operations, and fuel tank status. - Coordinates the daily use of bulk fuel cards with user depart...
